PASTOR BENNY HINN IN SOUTH AFRICA

johannesburg 18,000 seat Coca Cola, pastor benny HinnJohannesburg’s 18,000-seat Coca-Cola Dome was transformed July 11–12, 2008, into a sanctuary of praise, worship, and Gospel preaching. Already, reports are reverberating throughout South Africa of the heart-warming salvations and incredible miracles.
From the first moments of the first service, the atmosphere was electrified with God’s presence.
The Greatest MiracleAs Pastor Benny stepped onto the stage in the opening service, he presented a clear-cut plan of salvation. Message highlights included God’s answer to sin, what we must do for forgiveness, and God’s promise of salvation. He referred to salvation as “the greatest miracle of all!”
As he extended the invitation for salvation to the audience, asking people all over the Coca-Cola Dome to raise their hand if they wanted to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, hands were lifted all over the arena. People streamed forward and prayed with Pastor Benny to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.
On the final night of the crusade, Pastor Benny again preached salvation, and once again people of all ages came forward to receive Jesus.
“You’re Going to Be a Pastor!”At one point, Pastor Benny noticed a young man standing among those responding to the salvation call. He said to the youngster, “This is going to change your life. You will never be the same!”
After the salvation prayer, Pastor Benny invited the young man up, along with his uncle, and talked to him.
Pastor Benny told the 11-year-old, “Napoleon, God shows me that you are going to be a pastor one day.”
At Pastor Benny’s request, the audience pointed toward the young man and shouted, “Napoleon, you’re going to be a pastor,” and the young man began to weep.
When Pastor Benny asked Napoleon why he was crying, the young man exclaimed, “I’m happy!”
“He Adores You!”Pastor Benny also asked a mother and her two children to come to the platform, because he had seen the mother caressing her children as they prayed the prayer of salvation together.
As they talked briefly about what had just happened, he discovered that the children’s father had left, leaving them alone.
Pastor Benny said, “Perhaps God had me call you up here just to tell you how much He adores you!”
Miracle HighlightsMiracles in JohannesburgIn addition to the outstanding altar calls and tremendous response during the services, Pastor Benny taught from the Scriptures concerning healing and miracles. A powerful anointing filled the Coca-Cola Dome. The audience witnessed powerful miracles, including:
  • A 17-year-old girl came forward to tell about an injury at birth that had caused a lifetime of horrible back pain. The girl had asked her mother to bring her to the service because she knew she would be healed. Her mother wept as the daughter shared in no uncertain terms, “At last all my pain was gone!”
  • An older lady had suffered with deteriorated knee caps for 20 years due to arthritis and had always required the use of crutches. She was able to walk without the crutches and with no pain.
  • A pastor came to testify of God’s healing touch on her back. She had suffered with pain and arthritis for some time and was thrilled that her pain was gone.
  • At one point in the morning service, Pastor Benny called out miracles of arthritis, asking all those who suffered with arthritis to step into the aisles and believe God for a miracle. Many, many people made their way to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch.
  • A husband and wife came to the platform to testify of miracles of healing from arthritis. The husband’s hands and knees and the wife’s hips, back, and arm were healed of severe arthritis.
  • A woman accompanied by her two daughters came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch as the pain from a blocked artery in her heart vanished. Her daughters were thrilled to see their mother without pain.
  • A woman and her husband came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch on the woman from a blocked fallopian tube. She was visibly moved as she talked about how her pain had vanished!
  • A young woman testified she’d been on a significant amount of medication to control the pain. But when the healing anointing touched her, all her pain vanished!
  • An older woman came forward reporting healing from painful lung disease and emphysema. Suddenly, as she testified, “I was able to breathe. Now there is no pain!”
  • In the final service, a lady suffering from colon and rectal cancer was healed just minutes before the service began. The cancer had caused her much suffering and pain and had made it impossible for her to walk. Pastor Benny was made aware of the miracle just before setting foot on the platform, so early in the service he invited the woman and her husband to come to the platform to testify of what had already happened. She said all her pain was gone, and she no longer needed her wheelchair. The crowd roared in praise to the God of miracles!
Many more miracles of healing from various forms of arthritis and cancer were reported. God did a powerful work at the crusade in South Africa, and the impact from these services continues to spread throughout the continent as more and more people hear of the results!
Pastor Benny’s EncouragementMighty Work in South Africa“God is doing a mighty work here in South Africa,” Pastor Benny said. “We have held several crusades here in recent years, and people are increasingly hungry and open to the Gospel. I ask my partners and ministry friends all over the world to pray earnestly for God to continue pouring out His anointing and touch an entire generation throughout South Africa! Only eternity will reveal what your prayers and financial seed are doing in places such as Johannesburg. I encourage you to continue to be part of what God is doing through these crusades!”
